We have all been throwing around trip ideas lately, would you be interested in going to the 2010 Olympics in BC? I thought I might pair this with a trip to my mother-in-law, but this is a fairly public event. Cogitate on that...
What does one actually do at the Olympics? Wake up, go to events, eat, go to more events, sleep? Would we also be able to wander around BC and see cool...uh...Canadian stuff? Just curious, I really don't know.
Well, a lot of the events will be up at Whistler (skiing and boarding, for example). BC is a pretty awesome city, if you've never been. Kind of San Fran NW style. A person could do their own skiing, camping, hiking up there- but I would likely take in a couple days of events, a couple days of the city and then hide out in Concrete WA with the dogs for a few. As much as I want to see the Olympics for Olympics sake- honestly I don't participate in any myself, so I don't imagine watching each breathless qualifier round- y'know?

Newman center has been talking about taking a trip there...because a bunch of us will be graduating that spring. If we can work that out...heck yes!
