So I've decided I have no idea what I'm doing with my life....and I've been trying to figure that out. I'm going to be graduating eventually here, and I'm not sure if I'm ready for the workforce, or if I even know what workforce I want to enter.
I like traveling, I like exploring, I like helping people, so maybe I should join the peace corps? It's not definite, obviously, but i figured you might care that I'm thinking of it as an option.
Aaaand here's a random picture of me and the fresh tattoo. I love it, and I think it turned out pretty very well.

Thanks for the picture, Boo.
Peacecorps could be good- although the 2 year commitment essentially takes 3 years- so good to think ahead. Emily will be home at Xmas if you want to ask her about it. You might think about similar service programs with the UN or Red Cross that might get you a different sort of skills when you get out. The advantage for PeaceCorp is preferred placement in schools and government jobs when you return- if you care. Word to the wise- There are also some questions about whether the next government will spend so much on foreign service in the current economic climate.
And maybe this should be motivation for you to consider an internship over the summer? A brief exposee in the life of someone who does something might be helpful in forming your opinions. You should find one in Pittsburgh so we can hang out next summer ;)
Love,
S
I really like how when you click on the picture for full size examination, you can see the actual bruising and hematoma formation attendant to this body beautification process. Perhaps I should be relieved I'm not seeing the whimsical horrors portrayed on the tracing sheets behind you on the wall. Anyway, update! update!! your SAS video is coming your way and your face is seen in a few backgrounds if not in a primary interview. They left your speech out of Cu Chi but you show up at the start of the tunnels...Dad
